Natural shapes and great freedom of choice
Is following a conversation at the table difficult? Bean by Akomo is a suspended panel in an organic shape. Thanks to its volume, it absorbs a huge amount of sound, thus improving speech intelligibility. Moreover, Bean can be combined with lighting, making it a total solution. Above a larger table, for example, choose two or three versions of Bean, both with and without lighting. Play with the hanging angle and height to create a creative landscape of light and tranquillity.
Flock technique
All products feature colour applied by flocking technique. Flock are small fibres of colour applied to an adhesive layer. This technique is similar to heat retention in an animal's fur. The fibres are straight on the adhesive layer and catch extra sound in the intervening space. By choosing a coloured panel or lighting element, you automatically also choose to improve sound absorption.

The Bean can be flocked in 12 different colours. Three variants are available:
- Bean A – hanging panel
- Bean AL - pendant mood lighting
- Bean PE – not an acoustic product but a polycarbonate pendant light unit with 2750 lumens and standard DALI and switch dimmable
