Sound level measurement
A noise level measurement serves to determine whether standards for a good working environment are met. In addition, the measurement is used to assess whether noise in homes may be caused by roads, railway lines or aviation. In catering establishments, the measurement is used to measure the annoyance to the surroundings and to check that visitors cannot suffer hearing damage.
The result of the measurement is expressed in decibels.
