Acoustics and insulation
Durable polyester wool with insulating and sound-absorbing values. Polyester wool is a product that, like PetFelt, is made of recycled PET bottles. It is increasingly used as an alternative to stone or glass wool.
Are you going to create a beautiful wall with PetFelt panels or get started with tiles from Baux? Make this application extra absorbent with PetWol. The white variant is also great as a material in public spaces.
How do I use PetWol?
PetWool has a soft core and does not cause itching and irritation like glass wool. This makes it a pleasant product to work with. We recommend first installing a timber frame against the intended wall. Make sure the spacing and battens match the dimensions of your panels. Then fill the gap with PetWol. Use our acoustic mounting adhesive for direct bonding to the wall or ceiling. Then screw or glue the acoustic tiles or PetFelt panels into place.
These are your options
The fireproof PetWool is available in 2 sizes; 120 x 100cm and 60 x 100cm. The polyester wool comes in 2 thicknesses; 20 mm and 40 mm. The density is 40kg/m3. You can choose black or white PetWol, depending on where you use the material.
