Tough industrial lighting with an extra function
Pendant lamp Industry by Akomo is an acoustic lamp made of Basotect melamine foam with LED downlight. The name of this acoustic solution is inspired by the lamp's industrial character. Lamps with this design used to hang in large factory halls and are still a popular addition to any interior. There are two variants of the Pendant Lamp Industry, one has a deep hollow at the bottom while the other has a shallow hollow.
Flock technique
All products feature colour applied by flocking technique. Flock are small fibres of colour applied to an adhesive layer. This technique is similar to heat retention in an animal's fur. The fibres are straight on the adhesive layer and catch extra sound in the intervening space. By choosing a coloured panel or lighting element, you automatically also choose to improve sound absorption.
