Implementation
When purchasing a Reverberation Measurement RT60, our expert will visit you to perform the measurement. We will make an appointment by phone or e-mail. You can use the quote request to indicate which dates are convenient for you. Afterwards, you will receive a comprehensive report on the acoustic survey.

A reverberation measurement RT60 is an acoustics measurement, which measures how long it takes for a sound to die out. Specifically, it maps in how many seconds sound becomes 60 decibels softer. By performing a reverberation measurement, we can determine exactly how much absorption material is needed to solve your acoustics problem. This ensures that you do not buy unnecessary materials. Moreover, if you decide to purchase the required materials or products from us after the measurement, the cost of the measurement will be deducted from the total cost!

To carry out the measurement, we have calibrated equipment that complies with current Class 1 standards.

Reverberation Measurement RT60

The RT60 (reverberation time) is one of the most important acoustic properties of a room. Determining the RT60 is essential when assessing rooms, open office offices, classrooms, restaurants and other hospitality etc.The reverberation time of a room is the time it takes for a sound to soften by 60 dB. This is what we also experience as the extinction time of a sound. We use the ISO3382 Standard (parts 1 3) when measuring and reporting the RT60. This uses Class 1 certified measuring equipment and noise sources.

The source for the measurement can be an alarm gun or an omni-directional loudspeaker. The latter emits the same amount of sound energy in all directions. This 360-degree speaker (also known as a dodecahedron) is used to obtain the best measurement results.

The measurement results in a wealth of information, providing a complete picture of a room's acoustic fingerprint. This allows us to calculate the right solution very precisely.
