When you purchase a Speech Intelligibility Measurement STIPA measurement, our expert visits you to carry out the measurement. We schedule this by phone or email. Afterwards you receive an easy-to-understand report on this acoustic survey.

By carrying out STIPA measurements, insight is gained into speech intelligibility, or the Speech Transmission Index. Based on the measurement results, targeted advice can be given. This way, we ensure optimal speech intelligibility.

That's why a speech intelligibility measurement is an excellent way to establish a space's acoustics. Based on the measurement data, it can be assessed whether or not the space meets the user requirements. This gives you certainty that you won't purchase unnecessary materials. If, after the measurement, you decide to purchase the required materials or products from us, the cost of the measurement is furthermore deducted from the total cost!

Products and solutions

Akoestiek Label products are specially developed to improve acoustics. The material in these products has absorbing capacity. By placing them in the relevant space, sound waves are effectively captured. This reduces sound waves over long distances (reverberation), while speech intelligibility over short distances actually improves.

Speech intelligibility measurement (STIPA)

Akoestiek Label carries out various acoustic measurements, for which we use software including SMAART and Room EQ Wizard. For the speech intelligibility (STIPA) measurement, software from NTiAudio and StudioSixDigital is used. Speech intelligibility can be assessed by measuring the STI value (sometimes also referred to as a STIPA measurement).
