Astronomically beautiful ceiling panel with acoustic performance

The disc-shaped ceiling panel Kepler from Akomo is inspired by the work of the astronomer Kepler. The round ceiling panels are reminiscent of celestial bodies and give any space that little bit extra. Because the panel stays relatively flat, this solution is also suitable for lower ceilings. The playful design can be assembled yourself in different sizes and colours.

Flocking technique

All products feature a colour applied using flocking technology. Flock consists of small coloured fibres applied to an adhesive layer. This technique is comparable to how an animal's fur retains warmth. The fibres stand upright on the adhesive layer and capture extra sound in the space between them. By choosing a coloured panel or lighting element, you automatically also choose improved sound-absorbing performance.

Made from Basotect melamine foam

All Akomo products are made from Basotect melamine foam. This soft melamine foam absorbs sound waves and reduces reverberation by up to 90%. The exact acoustic improvement of course depends on the space and the placement of the acoustic solution. This material can also be made in any colour and shape, giving you huge choice.

Here are your options

Ceiling panel Kepler is offered in variants with two, three or four discs and is available in 12 different colours. The Kepler can also be extended with lighting. For combinations with lighting, you can request a quote.
